Travel Training DVD by Ashley School, Halton

Lots of organisations have brought out videos about travel training, but this is a really good one. Made by Ashley School, using the experience of Halton's Independent Travel Coordinator, Jacqui Dunbavin, this video sets out to tell us in simple terms what travel training is, what sorts of problems it seeks to overcome, some of the young people it can help and the kind of results that can be achieved.

Yes, it's made by a school but it's pretty slick and straight to the point. The school pupils do a great job of acting out the set pieces. It's short enough to be useful to an otherwise busy person.

I would be happy to lend this out to parents to support the case for their child to do training. It would also be useful to show at a meeting if you were trying to push a travel training initiative to governors, councillors or managers.

An unreserved recommendation for this one.
